Flame of Hope Flame of love Love for you, and love for me God's creations Together now for all to see Flame of peace For that which we can achieve To live in peace If only man could conceive Flame of glory Glory for good that's been done And the promise too Of what may be to come Flame of hope Hope that we may just survive Or will it be That mankind will cry "The heart and soul have no illusion of boundries when friendship is the quest" ~ My Angel. |

The way you've segmented this piece allows the reader to follow your thoughts well. I noticed that there arises a sliver of doubt in the ending stanza ... a question to ponder, perhaps to move the reader. SpitFire.....I'm pleased to have brought a smile you my friend. Pleased too that you enjoyed this.  As for surviving, well there is always hope!Butterfly, my dear friend! What would I do without your support and wonderful words of encouragement? Your "mere words" say everthing that needs to be said, and so much more. i think Claire hit on it exactly and the real question lies in what is to be done with the knowledge. Do we continue to ignore the obvious until it is too late or do we step up and take notice.
