Did You Know...When / Have I Told You...That Did you know...when Yesterday, we walked the paths fed each with thoughts and felt nature's touch Stopped along the water's edge stepped the stones, I had laughed so much Lost my balance, caught by you watched yours lose, one foot soaked Another giggle, I couldn't resist as teasing you with looks, I joked We climbed the mountain my breath I lost, 'til you again breathed life in me Always, ever, you fill my heart with each treasured moments memory We later leaned into each bodies tight 'til I heard that crack Hmmm, thinking, hoping not did we do that when you pressed me back (*wink) Then swung me high, you certainly did I closed my eyes in slight of fear That little child swinging next to me, loved it his laughter, I did hear Said, "Daddy , swing me high like her," he thought it fun to do like me He didn't realize, that I in laughing, was closing my eyes becoming dizzy Then quietly we glided in arms of you was found Warmth, contentment ease of each, my thoughts became unwound And kissed a bit, you washed away, before it even rained The tired of my body, thoughts in leaning left, the drained In storming rain you held me, felt your love inside my heart The pounding of the rhythms of the drops began their start And matched the pounding heard from you, when touch of eyes and more Caressed my wanting eyes and thoughts, your words that reached my very core. Have I Told You...that Each time you look at me you touch me again with your eyes Every day when it happens you draw out of me my breath, my sighs When my name, you whisper or your laughter I hear in the breeze I want to reach out and touch you back with words and looks to please Your gentleness has helped heal me, my pains, the best that one can do You've wiped away my tears brought the dimpled smile back to me, since you I'll never be the same, you know, the one you've led from the deep Enticed me to become again, now in dreams I often sleep To say the words of thanks is never quite enough, I am sure So I leave you always thought and word kisses, eye touches and more...
