So what quality have I
turned of faith that reckons
by hearts content now shamed
that futher my indignity of life,
content of sorrow and pain
that I have left and been unforgiven
loves lost mind set in far away dreams
in true reality I have nothing!
A fair child of this earth
that walks alone in distant futures
unconcerned of wealth and freedoms
brings light to these darkend walls,
where light hath fallen dimly
and quick, my humor does shame
were it nor for my own past
in complete circumstance as hers.
She cries a new horizon of tears
that stream forth my life
and the hatred of my heart
that breaks in earnest contemplation,
of what her tears mean to me
my blood does turn hot
for this time has given nothing
but strength in slow aperation.
So be my terms in my souls agony
and let me die my hearts fate
for be it not said,
that I did love her fully,
yes, I fully loved her souls freedom
her hearts quicken pace when but a glance
gave liberty to our lips, and arms
in unison with our might and love.
So pray thee fair heart in lands away,
do not hide from this place
where your beakon has shown
more than the suns brightness,
and never forget this time
of ours that we share in ourselves
which we have had, and continue
through life times that we have yet to breathe.

Wow I loved this piece.  Your style of writing has as much power of thought in it as do your words.  well done.

So pray thee fair heart in lands away,
do not hide from this place
where your beakon has shown
more than the suns brightness,
and never forget this time
of ours that we share in ourselves
which we have had, and continue
through life times that we have yet to breathe.

Michael...
I always love reading your poetry! It is deep and sincere, written in your very own unique style that holds such power.
Beauty and strength.....a great combination, my friend!!

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!
