Mathematicians
Other scientists
Study chaos
Chaos theory.
Some say
It reflects
Their home life
After kids.
Or
After a grandparent
Moved in.

Sometimes
None of the above
Things beyond random,

In the local realm
Out of control
Tantalizing images
Just out of reach
Warm, inviting
Substantial and amorphous
Blown by winds
Unfelt

Sounds of music
Dissonant
Mixed with tones of
Incredible beauty

Daliesque montages
Limp figures
Softened
Out of focus
Smiling, beguiling
Like net words
On screen
Instantaneous
Before A GPF.

Climbing out
A chaotic pit
Growing above
Deeper
No apparent exit
Sunlight
With your face
Shines down,
Wraps me
In arms,
Carries me up
The ordered world
Returns.

This was just downright "fun to read".  I especially like this section... "In the local realm, Out of control, Tantalizing images, Just out of reach, Warm, inviting, Substantial and amorphous, Blown by winds
Unfelt"

Daliesque montage...

lights beaming, Mr. Yeats!
I'd join your chaotic universe anytime!

[Nice to see the photo, Bill!]

Wilfred, I very much enjoyed your poetic array of images and sensorial observation, and a happy ending, after all.
