~ Spilled Moonlight ~
by poetFemmeFatale

The moon spills in & lights your hair
moonlight shadows everywhere -
The softest hue of whitest blue
across your face - I gaze at you...

Your eyes closed soft in deepest sleep
Forever pray this moment keep.

I slowly breathe your hair, your skin
like somewhere that I've never been -
Your arms so strong around me tight
the moon spills in on us tonight...

I brush your cheek then with my hand
I trace your jaw, you understand -
Still sleeping though, you turn towards me
with eyes closed soft, you look at me...

I push your hair back from your face
and fall asleep in your embrace -
The moon spills in there as we sleep
Forever pray this moment keep...

Femme, it has been a long time since I've seen you around, and I've gotta tell ya, it's been worth the wait.  I've read your recent posts, just haven't had time yet to reply to them...but they have all astounded me in their sheer beauty.

In awe,

Alicat

There's no doubt in my mind - If I had a love like yours - my feelings would match yours and my prayer as fervent - but I could never match the quality and beauty of your words - This is a treasure.

~Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end.
