persona non grata thats right... I can't truly say that I know that you care for me. So all I really have is my hope and my fears to comfort me and share with me their non company. beyond any doubt... If you could love me I would Love to love you. Love should keep us together if love is really true. Still it's not so easy and my understanding is far from clear. Do know I can't embrace feelings all alone and I feel persona non grata around you my dear. Do know I hate feeling all alone and alone seems to be my biggest fear. Am I just kindof unwelcome or totally unacceptable as I fear. Truly my hopes and dreams hope to find you near Makes me kind of sad that my desires seem unneeded and remain unfulfilled around here. Everytime I look around I find you far away and not as close as I would hope my dear. Persona non grata has come in to play. Words designed to keep me away... Jameslee@August26,2000 persona grata...a person who is acceptable or welcome. persona non grata...thats right...your not acceptable. haunting words, James...people feel like this more often than they admit I am afraid... Afterthought: Irony is that I found this on page 3 with one reply...Deserves to be at the top as you are a poet of calibre!!! Don't care what people say Just follow your own way Don't give up and use the chance To return to innocence. -Enigma |

James - I like the way you addressed this subject - the title says it all. I hope this isn't your current state of affairs. There's a special birthplace for the kind of pain a cold shoulder can sire. |

The door is always open you'll never need a key and what you'll find inside, are all your friends, including me.... You need never feel alone here... and we need you..... Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

Thank you LngJhn, English Rose, Paula and Sunny for the wonderful responses. LngJhn one woman is warming my heart right now and a few are giving me the cold shoulder. I don't understand why I am attracted to women that are hard to get...but I am coming to my senses and I will grow to love and appreciate the one who gives to me...hopefully. thank you Sunny you are so warm and friendly and make me feel welcome...James |
