'Ollie, Ollie Oxen'
~*Marge Tindal*~

Within this day
I hope to find
words
words
words
on my mind

I seek
they hide

thus I try to find
words
words
words
within my mind

They hide
I seek

for just a peek
at
words
words
words
on my mind

'Come out !
Come out !
Wherever you are
Ollie, Ollie Oxen
all home free !'

There you are
you little rascals !

Marge - do you know what would be really neat???  If that rascally loss of words could be bestowed on another person at any time then, when lil Lorelei says, "Can I ask you a question!?", I could use this little gift to get myself out of the doghouse - heh heh

I like the light-hearted approach you took with this poem.  You stayed with the same theme throughout, and that holds it together so well.

Nice try guy !  I don't think so !
I can see you in the 'doghouse' ...
it's those 'cat houses' you'd better stay away from !

Hi Marge,

You wonderfully silly girl, I see a bunch of poets, running around every where looking for something and I am very creative when it comes to picturing what people look like HEHE. Awesome poetry.

Love, Cerenity

Marge you hunt they hide, but as soon as you turn your head away there they are waiting.
Loved the playfulness in this. And those words nestle around you like bees to a flower.

Marge,

You write "fun" poems so well.     Right now I own words are hiding...want to help me find them?  Be happy, my friend.

I seem to be the opposite
I hide but the words always find me
I try to concentrate on other matters ... to no avail
I force my attention to other thoughts ... only to end up miserable
I have countless unfinished poems ... new thoughts always invade the pictures
I can stop posting ... but I can't stop the words from haunting me ........
