At eventide of death he sings,
As night enfolds in angel's wings,
Beneath the glow; emerging heaven,
Orion's belt and Sisters Seven,
Stars beyond the stars he spies,
Yet with the light, a flower dies,
Fear no more the mourn of life,
Feel not the pain of mortal's strife,
From silent tomb to evening's bloom; deep
within celestial vault; he dies with sleep.

Seems we are of a somewhat like mind this evening, my friend. I believe that I could read your words forever, and still keep turning pages.

Stars beyond the stars he spies,
Yet with the light, a flower dies,

I wish I knew what lies beyond death's door, but you have spoken of stars, and so, maybe it is just so...

I love this poem...speaks to my heart, it does.

What beautiful sorrow...I do indeed hope that the stars guide us through death...and perhaps into life once more?  Anyways, wonderful work, I enjoyed this greatly!   < !signature-->

Mike~
There is such beauty in your write -

'As night enfolds in angel's wings,
Beneath the glow; emerging heaven,
Orion's belt and Sisters Seven,
Stars beyond the stars'

'From silent tomb to evening's bloom'

I am renewed with your phrases of expectation.
