Say goodbye, then fly into the wind... I didn't think you'd stay, so fly away fairweather friend... My heart was never set on you...I knew you couldn't see it through... So, say goodbye, then fly into the wind... I will carry on just like before... I didn't change my style when you came flying through my door... I have been around this block... I am steady as a rock... And I will carry on just like before... Nothing you could say will change my mind.. There's nothing you could do to make me think you're not that kind... I see right through your fantasy, You thought you'd play your game with me... But nothing you could say will change my mind... I don't want your love, fairweather friend Life is way too short, and you won't be there in the end... I can't waste my time on you... I've more important things to do... So, say goodbye, then fly into the wind... Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |
