The Flame I stare at the soothing Flicker of the dancing flame The hypnotizing rhythm Cutting through my Jumbled and hectic thoughts Wavering subtle light Casting soft shadows Swaying seductively It’s tranquil movement Soothing away the stress That builds in my Overwhelmed consciousness |

Wonderful. Just thought soothes me. My first thought was looking into the fire place myself and drifting into never, never land. Greatly written. |

Sudhir - Thank you! I'm glad you think so Wilfred - Actually the inspiration wasn't near as romantic..lol. I love candles.. and was lighting some when the poem came to me susan - I'm glad you enjoyed it.. thanks for stopping in |

~The flame,...it's calming isn't it to watch it's light,...it's flickering dance,...it's voice in a way. I truly enjoyed this piece. Very nice. Love how you referred it cutting through your hecticness,...that was good! Take care. *Peace. |
