Woe to the grass, For it is trod upon. Day after day, Feet of all sorts Walk, run, hop, And otherwise trample The innocent grass. The grass did not ask for this. Woe to the yes-man, For he is trod upon. Day after day, The feet of the boss Prop themselves Upon his spineless back, Relaxing. The worm did not ask for this. Woe to the food, For it is devoured. Day after day, Mouths of all sorts Crush, chew, and otherwise Decimate and masticate The innocent food. The food did not ask for this. Woe to Babylon, For she is unknown. Day after day, Idiots of all sorts Forget, ignore, and otherwise Don't remember her glory, Not-so-innocent Babylon. Babylon was asking for it. "If you can't annoy somebody, there's little point in writing." --Kingsley Amis |

Woe indeed! An intersting perception and something to ponder for a while. "The heart and soul have no illusion of boundries when friendship is the quest" ~ My Angel. |

gofor42, this was amazing, just love the style, gave me a big smile the whole read. Don't know who Babylon is but I guess she deserved it.... lol Very funny. Parker |
