My Dearest Grandfather All the precious memories, with my grandfather I shared. He holds a place in my heart, because he always cared. He always knew what to say, when I needed a friend. And now I wish , more time I could spend. Hearing his stories, and watching him smile. If we could only be together again, just for a while. I’d tell him how much he’s missed, and how much I love him. What a wonderful man. There’s no one else above him. To be your grandson, truly makes me proud. We’ll meet in Heaven some day, upon a beautiful cloud. I have learned so much, from what grandpa has shown. My grandfather is one of the greatest men, I’ve ever known. |

One Who Understands...I remember all the similar things about my grandfather..and I remember how he use to talk about coming to America on a boat...and the machines(cars) and airplanes and the first electric lights in Balto..... a wonderful poem OWU ~~soft smiles Maureen |
