Love starts where no love lives; where no heart crys for lovers of sweet needs lost in their smiles and speaking love with slow words filled with hope the words of light straight from the fumes where the flame lights the mist. Pictures endear the ancient hallways lust, birth and friendship withdrawing all of history's fathers from wells pouring from the night dreamers pot of wet glue shot out of the cup running and flowing. An angel in the night firm breasts to grip and taste for the first touch; where no fool gives pure strength to men, undaunted in the head filled with the truth where true love stays, an urgent place to share. Still they must beckon again their wants lying in the flower bed with such encasing needs deep in their love. Late they may whince at worries of a kind and cry in weak grief in the first person of lonely sweet needs. Love breeds inside their chambers; from truth to sex til the old talking mood comes to such friends; no hurt, no lies, just lovers of their time stuck to the moon reclining in a pool of well oiled years. A wonderful tribute to those who stay the course. I tried and unfortunately, after 24 years, I failed. Now I have a new love and I believe that it will last like the one in your poem. Very well written. |

"no hurt, no lies, just lovers of their time stuck to the moon reclining in a pool of well oiled years." perfect phrasing, et... this is a lovely piece... not that i can identify with it, unfortunately... love has always worked for me like a broken tape recorder playing the part of the song you don't want to hear over and over... LOL... and it lasts about as long as a snickers bar (but boy, i LOVE a snickers bar)... ![]() this one's dedicated to those lucky ones, i guess... maybe one day i will be one of them ![]() ![]() |

ethome, an inspiring testimonial to devotion, dedication and commitment. If this is autobiographical in nature, my admiration and congratulations to you. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

Thanks so much Jenn E appreciate the comments so much. Thank you Doreen I am sure you are going to get that tape recorder fixed and get on with a long lasting Snickers bar.. Thanks Claire that is partially true but like so many others after many years of marriage I also fell into the canyon of separation. But all those years married are the inspiration for this work. |
