Days Gone By When I was 13 I liked to daydream got rid of my toys, and thought about boys grandma said I was a walking dictionary always had a commentary Oh, just to be 16... When I was 16, kept my head in a cloud least that's what grandma said tried to give me her 1920's dress from a trunk man how it stunk... can't wait to be 21, free at last it will be a blast! When I was 21 grandma said get real money don't grow on a tree nothing in life is free... guess I'll just marry Harry When I was 30, clock went off at 6:00 time to get the kids out of bed off to school to learn a golden rule peace and quiet for a few... least when I'm 40 kids will be grown and gone When I turned 40, I said good lordy! is that a gray hair I see? can't be, guess I'll dye it, then deny it scales showed plenty sure would be nice to be 20... When I was 50, life sure seemed nifty load the camper... hit the road Jack, thats where it's at endless highways, endless byways think I'll stay home for awhile When I was 80, sure feel lazy does anybody know what day this is? sure wish the kids would stop by guess I'll just throw out this pie sure is getting late... Thanks Mike, my grandma really did try to give me a dress from the 1920's. She got mad when I said no! I sure miss her... BloomingRose |

Thanks all I have not hit the 50's so that one remains to be seen. Now to be 80... I have a feeling the world as we know now just won't be. At least I sure hope not. Gettin ready today... Deb BloomingRose |
