Apparently the most spoken word in the world is ok the second is Coca-Cola which is a pretty bad indictment of the state of mankind – one meaning all right, average, acceptable and the other being a consumer product. The most used language to utter these words alternates every twenty-four hours between English and Putonghua with approximately one billion people speaking each. |

Putonghua (Madarin Chinese) and English both share the title of ‘most used language’, while China sleeps English is the most used and while some of the English speaking nations sleep Putonghua takes over. |
