Avenues of inspiration- Are myriad it seems Some come of the dawning Others in our dreams. Some come with each heartbreak Other through our joy.. Some while watching nature Or a baby with it’s toy. Some come through perusing Works of bards of old... And wringing moisture from their dust Or heat from hearths grown cold. Others from the darker side Of our humanity- Of rogues, and rebels Knaves and thieves.. And vagabonds like me. Perhaps a painted sunset, Upon a painted sea- Or wind from off the ice cap Or a beach like Waikiki... Or strolling through a graveyard It’s tombs and leaning spires... It really doesn’t matter As long as we’re inspired. Visit My Home Page http://www.geocities.com/montcogunslinger/HomePage.html |

You nailed it! E X A C T A M U N D O! Inspiration comes in so many forms and so many different emotional flavors! One can write from heartaches to heart victories, and vomiting and family pets... it's all in the perception and the time we take to look at a subject with an open mind and flowing pen. I LOVED THIS WRITING! |
