She glided across the room As if the wind itself propelled her, A smile lit up the room And his darkness went away Those delicate hands moved through air Spinning a tale of happiness And he continued to watch her Yet, she never noticed him Indecision clouded his better judgment Memories flooded through emptiness, He remembered the sound of her laugh And the way she played with her hair While smiling at him And touching him with soft, brown eyes That seemed to caress him, And the world slipped away Her nearness now made him sweat And he choked upon his heart Did she forget him since she left? Did she miss him at all? All of his life, chasing a dream She vanished, and made him awaken Now, as he walked out the door Their eyes met in a frozen heat A pause in the fabric of time, And that once familiar smile |

JML, this is excellent... i love the imagery and detail..and well expressed emotions, nice work!! take care, janet marie I love you Is all that you can't say- Years gone by and still... Words don't come easily Like I love you, I love you... But you can say baby... Baby can I hold you tonight Maybe if I told you the right words At the right time you'd be mine... Tracy Chapman |

Thanks again Janet. Too kind for the confused mass of words here. *S* |
