Expunge that which with heavy hand Lay across this fertile land Obscure remembrances exist From time distilled as drops of mist On fields of green grass memories Dispelled as light warms morning breeze I seek for greater clarity And pluck one blade from emerald sea Inhale the scent of pre-dawn air Transcend this plane of mortal cares Prismatic orbs refract sun's light An instant then are gone from sight Leaving but a piece of grass And just another horse's a** |

Good poem, Doc - It works well - even without the horse... |

You had me mesmorized through this poem, and then I felt I got hit in the head with a bat when I reached the conclusion. Maybe your intention, but my head hurts now...LOL [This message has been edited by Lost Dreamer (edited 02-20-2000).] |
