There's a fleeting face that haunts my dreams, In some distant future yet unseen. I just wonder who it can be In this dream that is taunting me. Peaceful dream beyond my reach. What kind of lesson are you trying to teach? You cloak yourself in this mystery. Some voices I hear, but no faces I see. Secretly waiting for the evening to end. For that's when the dream will once more begin. This elusive barrier in my dream is intriguing. As I wait in anticipation for what it may be bringing. And again I'm left with a fading silhouette. Without a name and whose face I can't see yet. As the shadows dance in the pale blue moon, This dream, one more time, ended much too soon. |

Once again, an enjoyable read, Eloise. I am going to have to read this one many more times, since I liked it so well. Dreams can be so unreachable in the night as well as the day. I will have to think about this one some more, and will post again. : ) |

Eloise, this has a very nice flow, It so interesting to me how all my dreams fade soon after I wake, like a fading silhouette. Great poem. Parker |

Wonderfully versed! Fading as dreams often do when we awake. <*\\\>< There's only two ways you can go... One way you can save your riches, And the other will save your soul. Rich Mullins |

Thanks Parker. I know what you mean. But it's always nice to go back in hopes of recapturing where we left off. Unfortunately, not always possible. Thank you WhtDove |

A tantalizing taste...before the dream fades...shadows of something we can't quite put our fingers on...but we know we enjoyed it... Be even better if I could remember what happened! *grin* Great poem! Freedom of expression is the watch word... |
