Chasing Trolls

I used to ride the unicorns
slay dragons
and chase trolls.

I killed a one-armed giant once
by stepping
on his toes.

A cyclops once ran away from me
shrieking and
shaking in fear.

The monsters in my fantasies
would know
when I came near.

I used to ride the unicorns
but that
was long ago.

And now my son I turn to you
and give you
my arrow and bow.

I try to do a little something different every now and then. (Actually, this is to my nephew, he is busy slaying dragons for his little brother.)LOL (I just call him son, I really don't know why, we're just pretty close thanks to life circumstance.)
