Sweet Dreams Many nights awake I feel the loneliness Waiting for the slumbering sands, To drift in the pleasures of the twilight land In search of a girl with fire red strands Through wisps of rhyme, locked in the corridors of my mind That chaotic land I grasp to touch her hand A frantic kiss, and fantasy of bliss My sleep is blessed with her soft caress But soon comes the morning to end my sweet dreams. I enjoyed this. The writing itself has a dreamlike quality throughout, then *pop* time to wake up. Mike |

I enjoyed this as well, Parker..."the slumbering sands"...what a dreamy thought. This piece shares the lonliness that is, very often, all too real in the quiet of the night. thanks. Claire |

Parker~ So romantic a thought resides in this. Man, are you a dreamer with class ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Thanks Mike, I don't remember as many dreams as I would like. Clair, all too often is right I must admit. Thank you dear Marge, lately my dreams have been of distant places and mysteries! Parker |

Your dreams are sweet, Parker...and I see sand has found its way into your poems already! Ahhh, well, guess what? It's raining here again!!! "That chaotic land I grasp to touch her hand" lovely! Thank you, James. |

JennyLee, thank you, and I hope you have beautiful sweet dreams too. Corinne, and I'd love to run through the warm rain of California right now to get out of this snow storm. Marina, well maybe, and thanks. Parker |

devina, and what might you mean by smooth my dear. "I flirt therefore I am" the original meaning seems to have been confused. |

Dreams, dreams, those wonderful dreams! We write of dreams and wants and desires in here... Leaves a girl wanting for the sandman a little too often! I believe your "dream" to be expressed rather well. |

In the quite of the night, lonliness has become my well know friend, but in my dreams I am able to push it aside. At least for a short span of the night. I liked this very much. A wonderful dream. B Gravitt |
