Opportunity missed, Opportunity gained. Today, Yesterday, And again tomorrow, I will miss an opportunity. An opportunity to grow, An opportunity to be more, An opportunity to be happy. I sit beside myself, I think too much, I worry, I wonder, What would happen if... But I never find out. I spend all my time, Wondering if, And I never see, What would happen if... I missed an opportunity today, Sitting there, I could have laughed, I could have spoke, I could have looked, I could have smiled. I didn't laugh, I didn't speak, I didn't look, And I didn't smile. Instead I ducked, My head in shame. I kept quiet, And I knew only pain. I wish I could, Forevermore, Express myself, Without fear anymore. But I cannot, I fear. I missed a chance today, Yesterday, And again I will tomorrow. I wait, I wait to find what can happen. What can happen when finally, Finally I can see today. Not live for tomorrow, Or live for yesterday. I am waiting, Waiting to find today. To live today, And be happy with tomorrow. |

Jon~ we all miss opportunities at one point or another. What makes the difference, is whether we make up for these lost opportunities, or we act on an opportunity that comes along later on.... At all costs, no matter what you do you should never look back with regret, because tomorrow is a new day. |

Many opportunities are lost for fear of trying. But, you know what they say about fear (false evidence appearing real). Try anyway, and let the cards fall as they will. Nice poem and good message for many. DH |
