When you turn away from my loving gaze, with disgust and contempt in your eyes, it cuts like a knife. Deep and true, the cut may never heal. Once upon a time, you might have reflected the wonder and awe I saw in you. But now you possess knives in your glare. Severing you from me. Chopping away the memories. Slicing the feelings you might have once felt, into little ribbons of hate. Bleeding ribbons of angry love. "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." -the words of a friend |

Truly the things that hurt the worst coming from the one that can do the most damage.I feel your pain...so here`s what ya do.Wait`ll he goes to sleep then staple the sheets down to the bed and let him have it with a broomstick for a while, that`ll change his attitude.Glad i could help ps: he may not love you anymore but you`ll feel a whole lot better. ps#2 just kidding i loved your poem ,so full of pain |
