As the sun over yonder mount does rise My love lay here asleep and lost in dream And as I look on her with both mine eyes It seems as though her mouth is fixed to scream The monsters in her dream do crawl and creep And pull her down to burn her in the fire I wish that I could break her from her sleep Than leave her there as though on funeral pyre I want to hold her in my arms and say That she hath not a reason more to fear I want to say "I love you more each day" And that nothing can harm her while I'm here Yet while she sleeps she has an angel face And so I'll leave her lying in her place |

Welcome to Passions! Nice sonnet you have written here. Sounds like true love lives at your house. |

Thanks, but I do not have love in my house, due to the fact that I am only 17. |

Hi Rojo, this is a lovely heart felt piece of work - I commented on this yesterday, but somehow it must have slipped through the ever mysterious web --) I hope that most 17 year olds live in a house that has love in it. Love is many faceted. --) My neice writes -- and she is almost 16. She writes many dark pieces -- makes me nervous sometimes, but she is quite normal. LOL Take Care, Teresa King |
