-- I don't have the heart -- (3-22-97) I don't have the heart to call and listen to silence, And wonder if you're still there. I don't have the heart to hear your sorrows, And take critisism for the advice I share. I don't have the heart to sit alone, And know I could be with you. I don't have the heart to invite you out, Knowing there's nothing we can do. I don't have the heart to remember the love I have, And know that I mustn't share. I don't have the heart to loose a friend, And pretend that I just don't care. I don't have the heart to sit and watch, As you and I fall farther apart each day. I don't have the heart... Aaahh...just as beautiful as it was the first time I read it...glad you took my advice.  You DO have a heart BTW. I relate to the frustrations you share in this piece though - been there too. Argh...don't you hate pounding your head on the wall, trying to find a solution - ANY solution? Sometimes, it seems there isn't one. BTW, did I tell you how beautiful your JM addition was? Left me breathless, and speechless! Thank you, I am honored to say the least. You're a brave man to dance with me. |

you have the heart of a poet...tis true... it shows in your poems...your heart shines thru. another piece of perfection... so do ya believe and trust in my brown eyes gift to see now (smile) later-dave gator Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there. And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind... And I know someday I might be looking around Trying to find some purpose Well purpose it can't be that hard to find As long as I've got the wind... I too am sure you have a heart, WhiteNite. Boy can I ever relate to this one. It can be heartbreaking to try and figure it all out sometimes.
