Almost certainly she is
Mist of charisma
Danced languid in crimson
Lithe limber limbs
Seductive soft angst
Glistening in lips full

She is art
Matryoshka nested in layers
Pierced and cut yin
Yang toned flesh on
Sultry smiles and
Womanly wiles

She is in youth
An erstwhile soul
Standing in silence
Spoken reticence
In scented song

Stripping bare duplicity
Of a crimson culture
A dream dashed
In anguish
The personification
of the dance

Bolero dancer
The song
And the harp
The string

The Chi of it all
Melting in golden eyes

Wow, what a way to wrap up such a delicious poem.  I love your manipulation of imagery, always a treat to read.  Where ya been, guy...withdrawls!     Good to see you post.

May I never be too busy to help another's load,
Then I'll be drinking from the saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed.

Sweetheart: You do have a way of making words dance or creating images that come to life..

"Stripping bare duplicity

A dream dashed
In anguish
The personification
of the dance"

Made me think of a puppet master..

Rebel~
This is awesome, as is the illustration.
Thank you for providing that link.
I copied and pasted your poem and the
art piece and they are each a compliment
to the other.
You do great work.

Rebel, this was tantalizingly beautiful.
I read it twice - to make sure I didn't miss
anything.  Thanks

Very beautiful, and indeed, the link really added to the sensuality of it all!  Bravo farm boy!  LOL     Hey, BTW, I finally got my email up and functioning properly, my new address is in my profile - I know you had asked, and unfortunately, the one I left for you, was the one malfunctioning!   Sorry!  Have missed you!
