Sorry members I have re-posted this poem as the font colour initially used was wrongly selected and I dont know how to modify it......Help, Thank you. Life I once had a daughter who trusted in me I remember her childhood, the fun, the laughs and the glee It would shine from her face - always landing on me A life so young - it's cruel, you see. Life. School was not easy she struggled along School was tough - So was I - I was wrong. But how can one redeem? What's happened and gone You can't - we all try - and have to move on. Life. It's not that easy. In fact, it's incredibly hard Full of torment and pain Something I feel, will always remain. Life. When one's only true possession is abused Life's real meaning must surely be mused Even sweet words written kindly by friend or bard Still leaves torment and pain - it's so hard. Life. I will get over and come out on top - I must. For the torment and pain must surely stop I find it so hard to endure year by year It never gets better, always a tear There's no justice here. Life The tears have been plenty and not hard to find Not like the true friend I always have in mind The walkout - The marriage - Was so unkind Life And now there's a new face to add into her life They come in different sizes - You see, she's a wife Look after - Cherish - But above all keep him close He's yours forever But I love you the most.
