college nights it seems i do no studying until all of my friends are snoozing, why this late night habit am i always choosing? i can always find a reason to put the books aside whether it's only to drink some beer, or to take a lady for a midnight ride. why is it that i procrastinate so much? it can't be healthy not to rest, but i can't give up the good times, for my college days will be my best! |

I know what your saying in this piece. Been there and did that once. Had lots of fun and managed to study also. College is a great experience, but does require commitment to the studying. Hang in there, it's worth it! Nice poem. A life isn't significant except for its impact on other lives. |

Hey Weableau i know where you`re coming from ,at that time of my life i was afraid if i slept i`d miss something but it`s all about balance. I had a girlfriend in college and she always used to say she had to study as hard as she partied and man did we party...and still made the grades. best of luck oh yeah great poem too |

thanks for the replies guys! you're right, i'm sure i can balance the studying and partying. i don't really have any choice...this pre-med track isn't going to get any easier! i wrote that poem in the middle of the night last night before i started on my 7 page paper that was due this morning.  thanks again for the replies |
