If things are different
In the next three months
And you change your mind
Will you tell me?

If those old feelings
Come back again
And love begins to sprout
Will you tell me?

If we are able to talk
Without arguing all the time
And can speak rationally
Will you tell me?

If you begin to see
That I have changed
And you like who I am
Will you tell me?

If you see that I still love you
For who you really are inside
And accept you wholly and completely
Will you tell me?

If time apart is all you needed
To collect your thoughts
And you decide you want to come home
Will you tell me?

Very well done. I can totally understand. It is like you took the thoughts right from my mind.

Lone Wolf - this poem really touched me.  I hope it speaks to your beloved's heart as it has to mine!

LW, great poem. . . from the heart. . .I am sure that he (or she?) will tell you. . . I don't think that they could hide it. . .

It's a lovely one straight from the heart.

LW, nice poem.  Hope that "someone" tells you what you want to hear.  Sounds like a heartfelt plea in this poem.
Nice writing as usual.

Claire,
Thank you!!!

Weaubleau,
thanks and glad you liked it.  Didn't even know I could get brownie points here!!!  LOL.

Sven,
Yes, it is from the heart. I know they Couldn't hide it even if they wanted to.  Thanks.

A_L,
Thank you and not so sure I am loved.  I will let you know!!

Danny,
Not sure it will be what I want to hear, but I just want the truth.  It was heartfelt....just my thoughts at the time.  Kind of wondering aloud on paper if that makes sense?  Hope so.  Thank you!!!
