Your love is a miracle
a treasure in my life
I am so honored
being your wife

You are honest,
so sweet and it's true
I'm constantly amazed
by all that you do

You are patient,
gentle and kind
Each day new joys,
with you I find

You are so funny,
loyal and incredibly smart,
Your love completely
fills my heart

You are handsome,
yet modest and shy
but you know you melt me
with a wink of your eye

You are everything
I could ever need and more,
You are my husband,
the man I adore.

Awwww... lucky guy

"The storm rises up when the shadows descend
every beat of my heart every day without end
I will stand like a rock I will bend till I break
till theres no more to give if thats what it takes
I will risk everything I will fight I will bleed
I will lay down my life if thats what you need
every second I live thats the promise I make"

I have no idea who wrote this... tell me if you know. =)

Oh, how beautifully you put into words, my own love for my husband!  I'll have to show him, and I thank you for giving me even more ways to say how I feel about him!
~ ~ ~
Lovely, tender, loving poem - well worded and much appreciated!

I would think your husband would be very touched by this.  Any husband would be.  There are far too few love poems in this world, between married couples who know such deep and special love.

sea-girlie girl
this is YOUR best

how sweet and perfect...
nice to know the honeymoon aint over
how long ya been married to this dreamboat?
very cool poem.
take care, jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

How dare you flaunt your happiness that way!!! LOL!

Sea, you an your husband are truly blessed to have one another. Was this poem, like, to get him to do the dishes or take out the garbage? hehe. No, probably not. Your sincerity shines through, sea. I'm very happy for you.

Dear SEA - I just read your little note on another poem, and turned and hollered to my husband - "hey! She home schools too!  Wow!  Where's her e-mail addresss?  What!  She doesn't have one?  Oh, man, I've got to contact her, even if only for one sentence!"  He turned and grinned at me.  "Well, leave her a message somewhere!"  He suggested.

Here I am again, still loving your poem, and to tell you and we have home-schooled for fifteen years!  Most of our children have never been prisoner inside a schoolroom.  Our last school-aged daughter is graduating this spring.  What am I going to do?  I have loved it so much!  And yes, it's great to take those days off, and just enjoy each other.  Oh, I wish you would write me sometime about homeschooling.  mountainrecluse@yahoo.com

It's your husband that's the lucky one,
To have a gal like you,
It's obvious in the way you write,
Cuz you're one of very few.

SEA, nice poem about that very significant other of yours.
