SLUG BUG BLUES By Mikey & Michael Anderson Slug bug red, Smack Dad's head! Slug bug blue, That's new - worth two. Doesn't matter where we go, We always play slug bug, you know? Purple one's, pink one's, greens and tans, Convertibles and Slug bug vans... Playing Slug Bug with Dad's the worst, He always says he saw them first! I swear that little Mikey cheats! He calls them after I pass the streets... Punch the arm, smack the chin, Dad's just mad cause I always win. Mikey, my son, what can I say, You know you just got lucky today! Daddy, what the heck do you call that?  |

The only Michael poet I like more than one is Michael II, cause he's so fun and what's with this car of many hues bet there's only one, couldn't come in twos! You both did a great job. Dad, if you keep this up, you could be as good as Mikey!  |

Great poem! I had to forward it to my boys! Whom have also taken me by surprise on many occasions- not too mention possibly added a few bruises to my being at times.... from the slug bug phenomena!!! |
