Someone says they miss me,
or is it just the words not seen?
Do they not know that nightly
I see them all in my dreams?

Balladeer, a great host’s host
often argues with Long John’s ghost;
Suthern, gentle lady of the heart,
she’s always taking up Toerag’s part.

Michael of the worried brow,
In my dreams angels visit you now;
Poet deVine writes lines so fine
Nan, she sniffs the salty brine.

Sy, the artist without the temperament
Is Elizabeth Santo’s Quixote spent;
Marge, her roots run deep to Indian lore;
Janet Marie strikes hearts to the core.

Martie, Marilyn, bsquirrel, Satiate,
Of you I’m just beginning to know,
Wayoutwalt and Rosemarie,
Your poetic pieces grow and grow.

Where have I been these last few days?
Taking care of small problems, now a haze;
I’m back, and my muse, she’s coming along,
So soon Sunshine, she’ll post more songs.

And to those of you whom I’ve not mentioned
do please know it was not my intention
to leave you out, but to you I speak…
do you know how hard it is to write during a working week?
