There in the nighttime sky I behold a little lonely star Where my thoughts of love reside Held aloft and brighter by far Ever the steady guiding light For a traveler through the storm How can something in the cold of night Be so distant, yet ever so warm No jewels upon Earth can measure Nor even be held in any compare For God so values this treasure Her light in Heaven He will forever bear Such a beautiful little star in the envious sky I shield her radiance from my undeserving eyes |

Now I will reach for the stars... Because Oh my love, that's where you are... Though the storms of black night rage on I still see your face I still feel your lips on mine And though my heart feels all alone without you I still hear you sing to me I still hear your voice on the sea... vertical horizon |

JML~ As a lover of gazing at the stars, I found this enchanting. They dazzle us with the radiant light of distant warriors of flight. Weave the sprinkle of enchantment on the twinkle of their beauty. You did them poetic justice. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

This is, indeed, a lovely bit of writing, an ethereal love poem, if you will. Beautiful. ~ Claire |
