The Magical Mystic Mystery Man He walks around the neighborhood And stops to talk a while I never saw the man before But recognize the smile And try to place him, best I can This magical mystic mystery man He comes to me and takes my hand And says you aren’t of wealth or fame But yet they call you as a queen For you possess her very name He stares at me as though to scan My inner self, this mystery man Then pointing to my hand he notes Your ring is gone, I plainly see It fell into the muddy pond This secret known by only me A ring of gold slipped from my hand Into the mind of the mystic man He then looks on to future days A mountain journey you will make A Colorado mountain top A trip that I am soon to take How does he know my travel plan This magical mystic mystery man? Then curiously I seek to know The answers to my destiny Who will I marry, knowing well My German love it’s sure to be He comes from the Amazon River land Says the magical mystic mystery man I would never see this man again He wasn’t really from that place He happened through the neighborhood And came to gaze upon my face At times I yearn to understand The wondrous mind of the mystic man So abundantly bestowed to few These powers of a psychic hue He knew my life by the touch of my hand This magical mystic mystery man Elizabeth Santos |

Your comments overwhelm Balladeer, Thanks, Master Poet Jeffery, Did you understand his Portuguese? Thank you for your little poem Martie, I don't have the imagination to create a story. This is all true. It happened in Brazil one New Years Eve, when everyone was dancing in the street. weaubleau, Your response is very kind. Thanks Mistikman, Sorry if I stole your name.
