State of constant confusion!

I would like to dedicate this poem to a very special lady without whom it would not exist.
Thanks for all your help Christy

Words of silence
echo through this lonely room
The sound of her voice
fills it with gloom
Seeing her photograph
brings back painful memories
Of watching her walk away
it brings me to my knees

I'll never know why
she left me standing in the rain
Crying tears of emptiness
is driving me insane
All I wanted was to love her,
never wanted to see her cry
But the day she walked out
I felt my heart had died

Been there...  Don't mean to sound pesimistic, but your heart probably did die to an extent    My empathies to you bud, I hope the sun shines for you tomorrow.

Anguish like this does not ever completely vanish. At the most unexpected moments, it pops back up. Very real and painful. You have written it well.  I'm so sorry.

You've expressed your sincerity very well in this piece. So often, writing can help us address our "tears of emptiness" and what causes them. Thank you for sharing this here...hope your tears are drying soon.

As Rosemary said, it pops back at the most unexpected time. But someone will come along to pick you up off your knees and fill your heart once again.

Wonderfully written

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

your still with me in every way.

As with the seasons, winter brings a kind of death and spring a new life. Winter is harsh and being in the midst of it we can be blind to the coming of spring. Your spring will come and your heart will experience new life. Just remember that hidden deep beneath the cold of hurt, there is a seed that will not die.

Jeffrey~
The hope I see is that you
gently thank Christy for her help.

Love in it's leaving our lives
causes the tears to fall ...
but eventually getting past the
tears .. causes us to see exactly
why that person was special enough
to cause the tears.
That's when the good memories
begin to surface.
Look forward ... but remember those
who have touched your life in a
positive and memorable manner.

Once again your words echo in my heart, the pain in which you reach for to write is amazing and it's wonderful to see you release it this way...**Angel Wing Hugs* I give to you because they ask nothing in return.

 Hold me for yesterday
Kiss me for tomorrow
But love me for today.
