I Love Life I love life - I’m glad to be alive It’s love I breathe; on poetry I survive A feathered quill’s the only tool I use My only need, the kindness of a muse I gaze at life through an aesthetic eye And drink in milky splendors of the sky I dine on gourmet treasures of the field And reap the loveliness the wildflowers yield The sunlight is the warmth upon my skin The moonlight is the warmth of love within I’ve had a chance to laugh throughout the years Memories of your love dwell in my tears There is a cornucopia filled with love And mornings filled with coos of turtle dove If I should die, my love will still survive I love life - I’m glad to be alive Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 04-09-2000).] |

Oh, what a jewel! Having been through a difficult day, my first thought was cynical; but then I thought - what a wonderful outlook she has! So I peeked in. ~ ~ ~ Little did I know how wonderful!
