For Never My Love ~*Marge Tindal*~ You promised it would be forever our love would always be For never would you ever want to spin outside of the circle of me With each day's dawning I glowed in the splendor of your love You took me to the heights of joy clear to the Heaven's above Of all the things you shared with me of all the thoughts so tender the things I most remember are the moments of your love For never would I leave you and the joy that you bring For never my love you are the coming of my spring The blooming of this rose with fragrance ever-sweet Knowing I am more because your love I keep For never have I longed to ever be apart For never will I leave you keeper of my heart ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Wow. Awesome poem. Sounds like true love... I notice there are past tense words there though. If it's love in the past then remember.... Better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.... I didn't say I'd leave you never. What I said, Marge, was "Leave your liver!" You know Matilda, my old aunt... She'll need it soon for her transplant! The doc said it would be a bargain To find an inexpensive organ. Those livers are not cheap, you know So let her have it should you go. And while we're talking parts, I mean, My grandpa Bob can use a spleen And my dear mother, bless her heart Needs so much who knows where to start!  Then, if you do, you will have found That you will ALWAYS be around And when I think of my aunt's liver I'll think of Marge, the Indian giver!!! |
