"Do you mind if I smoke"? "No of course I don’t" I love the sweet smell Of those fumes in the air It sticks to my clothes It sticks in my hair I choke as I try to breathe The bluish smoke fills my area My eyes water as I try to focus Cigarette packets and lighters on the table "Are you ok, is the smoke bothering you"? Welcome to Passions! This is a great first post! Unfortunately, I am still a smoker but I would never subject someone to it if it bothered them like this. You have to be honest and not put up with it if it irritates you. Most people would honor your request. When I kick the habit one of these days (soon I hope) I hope people will be understanding of my request too! Please check your email for a special welcome! Denise |

I feel exactly like this...I don't care what people say about rights - I don't particularly want smoke in my lungs - sure you can't avoid pollution, but you CAN avoid smoke!
