i felt something in my heart tonight
that i cannot explain...
i was overjoyed to hear your sweet voice,
but also filled with pain...

i was overflowing with happiness
because you opened your heart to me...
no more pretending to be so "tough",
tonight you cried for me.

just knowing i was on your mind
as each tear flowed down your cheek,
filled me with hope, and yet despair,
so much that i couldn't speak.

i wanted to be there to kiss your lips
and to wipe your tears away,
i wish i had been there just to hold you,
like i want to everyday.

my heart felt something special tonight,
now i'm thinking that someday i could,
say that same four lettered l-word
that i swore i never would...

Hi Weaubleau,

Commitment is a very hard thing some times but when its right all will flow effortlessly. This is a wonderful poem maybe you should show your friend it.
