I turned eighteen, was time for me, To set my sails, the world to see, I asked step-dad, for his advice, He said a job, now that sounds nice, I said all right, I'll give a go, To find a job, and earn some dough, I hit the streets, pounded leather, In noonday sun; rainy weather, I had no luck, could not get hired, The one good thing, was never fired, Then asked step-dad, what should I do? I'm at a loss, I have no clue, He shook his head, said should have known, A useless boy, now he's full grown, Find a village, lickety-split, For you can be, their idiot, So thanks step-dad, I'm now at work, I go each day, I hardly shirk, A big white house, a resident, For I am now, the president. |

Mike, to become is influanced by so many things...and sometimes shoved by someones negative thought...but then, to be president...is that a good thing?? I guess that depends on alot of things... Great poem, by the way. |
