Don’t you just love English diction?
It works well with my affliction
My name being Walter Lee Burns
And I thank you for your concerns

I went south boy did I blister
Nothing worse than blisters Mister
I have them in a certain place
As well as on my pretty face

What is the irony my good sir?
Antibiotics would incur
Sulfuric reactions to the sun
That would blister both my buns

You take a pill to not get sick
Cuz Mexican water is just ick
And they neglect to say, “hey son”
It might be better to eat and run

We don’t have to mention sex
Suffering sun poisoning effects
So we gave it the college try
In college we had shiny thighs

On the plane back to America
Next to a girl named von Erika
My wife and Erika they tried
Playing pop the blister as I cried

If anyone else calls me Lobster
I’m gonna hire me a mobster
There’s no fun when Walt Lee burns
That ninny poet that never learns

LOL! It all sounds painful to me.   I hope it was a good trip otherwise.

ROFL... I know it's no consolation... but your misery (or rather, your telling of it *G*) has brought smiles into my morning! (I was going to say sunshine... but I guess you've had enough of that? *G*) Great poem!

Hey, Walt - great poem!  Started my day out with a smile.  I do have to wonder, though - which blisters were your wife and Erika popping - the ones on your face, or the ones on your buns?

Walt is squealing,
Because he's peeling,
O boy does he hurt,
Can't wear no shirt,
Can't sit on his duff,
Life can be rough,
He lets out a screama  (Italian scream)
Praise be to Noxema.
