You are crazy to the touch A wonderful sigh escapes your lips I'd give heaven the finger If it would mean I got to be with you Forever Your eyes hold a mysteriousness Only you can decifer And when you turn them towards me I feel a rush of excitement Ecstatic love, a blunt and scary thing I know we're both in the same boat Sailing the seas of uncertainty But I can assure you I won't lead you astray And when you need someone there Just to hold you Just to comfort you Just someone to be there To tell you I love you You know I'll be right here Patiently waiting With a smile upon my face And my arms outstretched And without a doubt in my mind. We've both been hurt before We've both seen evils beyond our comprehension But this time will be different Can't you tell? This time will be Extacy And I'll show you that you can love me Without hesitation Without accusation And without any worries Because you are my angel My star, my everything And when you lay your head down to cry You know that I will be standing by With a shoulder and a kind word And we will lie under the stars Innocent as angels Sinful as devils No one can touch us We will be invincible...... Well, well, well... Yet ANOTHER beautifuly written poem. I have always loved your works. You have the heart of a poet. You really do. I wish I had half the talent you do when it comes to expressing your words on paper... =) |
