The abuse and torture is over, thank God, at last
But in my sleep I remember the years that past!
Almost awake screaming with my eyes full of tears,
What a waste all those miserable memorable years!

But time will heal my broken heart I do know
Being controlled all my life-now I'll go on to grow.
For some lucky day perhaps I will find a kind man,
That will not treat me as an old and dirty pan.

Another person in my life right now is not there,
Happiness is within my home with my pets so dear.
My phone doesn't ring my computer has not been used
This happens to all, I've been told who were abused.

So sorry to express my depression out loud to you,
Surely someone else has been through this too?

I'm back to the forum - finally - my favorite site!
