Had I known.... |

Had I known Had I known that the heart breaks slowly, dismantling itself into unrecognizable fragments of misery.... Had I known the heart would leak emitting it's ache with a vulgar visisbility Into the dress-up dining rooms of strangers..... Had I known that solitude could stifle the breath, loosen the mind, and force the toungue against the palate..... Had I known that lonlieness could permeate, winding itself around the body in an omnious and beautiful cicatrix..... Had I known- I still would have loved you. Your brash and violent beauty, Your heavy comedic face And your knowledge of sweet delights. But from a distance I would have left you unfrequented for the delectation of those who Wanted more and could care less.... |

hi and welcome to passions...and WOW your poem makesquite a first impression.this is very well written and expressed..packs a punch with you choice of words..and that last verse is perfection... grat job, take care, jm she said I dont know if I've ever been good enough, and I'm a little bit rusty, and I feel like my head is caving in. ...and I dont know if I've ever been really loved by a hand thats touched me... and I feel like somethings gonna give... and I'm a little bit angry. matchbox20 |

Your piece speeks of true feelings. This piece hit me very hard. I've been through similar situations, and it speeks of feelings that should be universal. I hope to see more from you. |
