In a vision I imagined a clown
and on his face he wore a frown.
His makeup was smeared on his face,
somehow he didn't belong in this place.
I sat down beside him to ask him why
he was so sad, and why did he cry,
but then he turned and I looked in his eyes
and knew he couldn't go on living these lies,
of smiling and cheerful thinking
when inside his heart was slowly sinking
with the world's pain and contradiction
wishing his smile was not merely fiction,
but genuine and in some way real
making happiness a feeling he could feel,
not something he put on in disguise
to hide the sadness behind his eyes.
Then the clown turned and i could finally see
that the sad clown with a frown was really me.

Gilbert~
Welcome to Passion's
Wearing the face of a clown,
laughing on the outside ...
crying on the inside ...
has to be difficult.
You've explained this very nicely.

WELCOME TO PASSIONS!!

What an entrance you make...This is beautifully written and so touching.  You've used the style I love as well...the "final blow" at the end.  I can't wait to read more.
