Tears of Jubilation

“Sshhh”-said the whispering pine to the willow,
“Why do you weep those tears on your pillow”?
The willow replied, “These are tears of Jubilation
Spring is coming, time for celebration”.

The brook babbled on to the murmuring stream,
“could this be real or only a dream”?
They were all filled with wonder they’d look if they could
“Tell us what you see”, they asked, The Tall Mighty Redwood.

“Wondrous things from above and below”
his voice was like music, like a beautiful cello.
“In a field of clover, the daises are dancing
While the bees and the flowers start their romancing”.

The rose is blushing, from what the white lily said
“Girl your are lovely in that shade of red”.
“The humming birds hum, sounds like a flute
There is a robin in his red breasted suit”

So much around for everyone to see
I shed these tears Of Jubilation for thee.
Gloom of winter is over as a new season starts.
New life has begun, Let the sun fill your hearts

 --------------
You got to get up every morning with a smile on your face
and show the world all the love in your heart
Then people are gonna treat you better
You're gonna find, yes you will
That your beautiful as you feel.~~~ Carol King

From all the lovely poems I've read, I think Spring is here...now watch and see if we'll all come down with spring fever!   Beautiful poem, Kitkat! I enjoyed it.

KitKat~
The joy of Sring is surrounding
us with her rebirth.
It is in the grasses green,
the flowers on the bloom,
the bird in song,
the smell of freshly fallen rain.

Thanks for sharing this delightful
reminder with us.

Thank-you all for your replies. I was inspired when I went for a walk today in the woods here in Maine. Nothing like a touch of Nature to inspire us

she said I dont know if I've ever been good enough,
and I'm a little bit rusty, and I feel like my head is caving in.
...and I dont know if I've ever been really loved by a hand thats touched me...
and I feel like somethings gonna give...
and I'm a little bit angry.
