My Sin

This longing, I need now impart
as words of love leap to my heart.
In cadence with yours, sweet, my love
they fall from heavens high above.
Is it sin, this ache, this bliss?
If sin it is, then I have kissed
with sinful lips and loved, unwise,
with sinning heart and sinful eyes.
I cannot keep from touching you
whether love or lust or sin is true.
I feel the passion's pearling rise
and see it mirrored, love, within your eyes.

Dear LadyClaire

Any expression of Love that beautiful is not sinful!
About the time i think i am a poet, i read something this beautiful and realize i have a LONG way to go.
So well written and so thoroughly enjoyed.

and I'm a little bit rusty, and I feel like my head is caving in.
...and I dont know if I've ever been really loved by a hand thats touched me...
and I feel like somethings gonna give...
and I'm a little bit angry.

Enjoyed would be a wee bit of an understatement.  Your ability to infuse such passion into the beauty of your words
cannot be a learned trait, it has to be gift. Beautifully expressed

Claire~
If this be sin ... let me in !
Your inspiration had to be special
to illicit these beautiful thoughts.
Lovely, my friend.
