Fairmont Balcony In the haze of a fog-kissed morning, we stand on the edge of bliss, Safety and warmth lie to the rear; we need only retreat into the known, forsaking these whispered chances that say, "everything could start anew." Hanging in the blackness of this artificial light, we fear this final step; we doubt the subtle certainty of sun -- forget its unwavering power to burn through this haze and bear us on the thermals of our dreams. © RAM 5/6/99 |

Beautiful work, Ram. I like the first two lines. Elizabeth "He have his goodness now. God forbid I take it from him!" -The Crucible |
