Monday Morning Bleary eyed and weary head tugging at my body trying to get me to rise... Slapping snooze... laying back once more trying to capture dreams long forgotten, only to be awakened once more from my slumber by the smell of fresh coffee, and the screaming of my digital rooster... LOL, your poem reminded me of the only alarm clock that would wake our daughter up in the morning, it was some obnoctious bird yelling and saying different things, I'm surprised she never threw it across the room, Great poem  [This message has been edited by Lost Dreamer (edited 04-03-2000).] |
