                Conjugation

I touched....
hunger drew me into hunger's needs
freedom released me into freedom's chains
I was only free to release tears.

She touches....
     hunger softens into yearning's dreams
freedom sings and captivates my core
I am basking in release of tears.

We will touch....
dreams will fold themeselves into love's fare
sated core will reach into my nows
I will bathe in depths of sweet release
we will taste the sweetness of our tears.

I like this better than so many other conjugations I have done!

con·ju·gate
Pronunciation: 'kän-ji-g&t, -j&-"gAt
Function: adjective

Etymology: Middle English conjugat, from Latin conjugatus, past participle of conjugare to unite, from com- + jugare to join, from jugum yoke -- more at YOKE
Date: 15th century

1 a : joined together especially in pairs : COUPLED b : acting or operating as if joined
2 a : having features in common but opposite or inverse in some particular b : relating to or being conjugate complex numbers
3 of an acid or base : related by the difference of a proton
4 : having the same derivation and therefore usually some likeness in meaning
5 of two leaves of a book : forming a single piece
- con·ju·gate·ly adverb
- con·ju·gate·ness noun

I personally liked definition #5, of two leaves of a book forming a single piece>

Thanks, Elizabeth, Corinne, Cerenity, Hoot, Cheryl

Corinne, thanks for providing the definitions.  While we're at it,

con·ju·ga·tion
1 a: a schematic arrangement of the inflectional forms of a verb

At the risk of deemphasizing the romance of this piece, my original intent was to use more verb forms than I did, but they started sounding monotanous.  English tends to be a bit more boring than some other languages, relative to the variety represented in the conjugation of verbs.  So, I kept it relatively simple.  In retrospect, I'm glad I did.

Thanks again, gang.
